We use 100% human remy hair, which is double-drawn. a. What is remy hair? Remy hair is considered the finest quality of human hair: The cuticles are kept intact which allows our technicians to align the hair cuticle in the hairs natural direction achieving a natural look and feel of the extensions. b. What is the difference between single-drawn and double-drawn extensions? Extensions are strands of hair sewn into wefts. Single-drawn extensions are thicker on the top and thin out towards the end. Double drawn extensions are fuller, all hair is nearly the same lengt h and the same thickness from the root to the tip of the extension strand to achieve a full, volumous body of hair. What are tape hair extensions? Tape hair extensions are made up of small wefts of hair that are attached to a tape strip. The tape is then applied to the natural hair, sandwiching the weft between two strips of adhesive tape. This method creates secure and natural-looking extensions that lay flat against the scalp. Tape hair extensions can be styled and washed like natural hair. What are nano hair extensions? Nano hair extensions use tiny, bead-like rings that are used to attach individual strands of hair to the natural hair. OUR STORY Lazarou Hair Group was founded in 1966 with the opening of it’s first salon in Riverside, Cardiff, by older brothers Steve and Jimmy Lazarou. Shortly followed into the business by younger brothers Laz, the late Tass, George, Mario with his wife Harri as well as his sister Androulla with her husband Mario. ​ Meeting the growing demand for good quality unisex salons, the Lazarou Group began to expand during the 1970’s with the opening of its first city centre salon in Morgan Arcade, Cardiff, shortly followed by the first out-of-Cardiff salon in Caerphilly. Expansion continued in the 80’s and 90’s with the opening of several additional locations throughout Cardiff and its surrounding areas. A generation on, the founding members´ children took over - as next generation of Lazarou´s they manage and take active part in the business: Andrew, Pani, Loula, Christina, Helen & Tino, Flora & Barri, Anna & Adam, Andreas, Stavros, Nick & Alex. ​ As Lazarou Hair Group and family, we are very proud of our rich history - in 2016 we celebrated our 50th year in business: ​ Riverside | the original branch The original Lazarou branch at Riverside, Cardiff, in 1966. We work hard to be an active and valued member of our local communities. Since 1985 we have been the main sponsor of the Lazarou Sunday Football League . We also host and attend many fund-raising events, such as our annual Barberthon - for 24 hours we deliver free haircuts and hot towel shaves for charity. Back for its third year, we supported Dreams & Wishes, t he charity organisation supports seriously-ill children by fulfilling them their dream, creating happy moments and valuable memories. ​ We are a family-run business .
