Fundamental Cutting

This course is our basic cutting course. It is designed to bring junior barbers and stylists to the next level. The main topics covered on the course include basic cutting techniques, layering one, length and short graduation haircuts and styles, and producing haircuts to start your hairdressing journey.

The course uses our unique hands-on approach to training – you will complete all haircuts on blocks and clients provided by the academy. With each service you will have our pro trainer at your side giving direct feedback and support. We will also use trainer demonstrations on stage to break down basic cutting methods so that you master the core Lazarou way of cutting hair.

Lazarou qualifies many barbers and hairdressers every year. Our results-driven training approach is proven and entirely hands-on practical training. This means you won’t be spending all your time in books studying theory.

Our pro educators will be always at your side to supervise, build confidence, progress your skill level and deliver exceptional results. Classes are between 4-6 students, with students of all ages.

• Texturizing Techniques

 By the end of the course you will be confident at most basic haircuts. We provide students all clients and blocks which means that you spend your time focused on developing your skill.

Upon successful completion you will receive a Lazarou certificate.

Course requirements:

Learners must be 18 years or older

Models required must be over 16 year of age

Requirement level:

Basic hairdressing knowledge is required

Duration:

Week 1 one length

Week 2 layers

Week 3 short graduation

Week 4 Long Graduation/Texturizing

10am prompt start

Induction Health and safety

Followed by underpinning knowledge and live demonstration on the stage, by our pro educators.

Short lunch break

Afternoon session at 1pm

Practical training on live models

Interactive quiz to check understanding and knowledge, followed by presentation of lazarou certificate.
