Lazarou Birchgrove - formerly of Morgan Arcade - was founded by the late Tass and Maria in 1996 and children Flora and Barri. At our salon, we specialise in all aspects of hairdressing and provide the highest quality personal service.
Our team provides the right homeware advice along with the right hair products to maintain the salon look and feel from home. We also have a traditional barbers for the modern man.
At Lazarou Birchgrove, small indulgent touches make our clients feel special - from our bespoke treatment menu for the ladies, including Indian head massages, neck massages, makeovers, manicures, aromatherapy scalp massages, as well as a range of fabulous conditioning treatments. These range from our express treatment masque to give your hair a quick moisture boost to our most indulgent treatments with a more luxurious scalp massage, a hand and arm massage which ends with a lovely steaming hot towel for the ultimate relaxing treat. Our stylists/hairdressers are dedicated to create an atmosphere that invites you to relax and lean back during your treatment.

I have been here twice now to have my hair cut and I'm definitely a confirmed regular now. I came in with an idea of what I wanted but not sure how to describe it, so the stylist, Sophie, went through a book with me and really helped me to get across what I was after. It was the best haircut I have ever had (My wife said so)! Sophie was really lovely and we chatted continuously and she checked with Barry at the end to make sure all was ok and that I was satisfied, which I was. I have also brought my 4 year old son for a haircut, which Sophie also did, and she was great and very patient with him. The customer service is also good in offering you drinks and taking your coat on arrival. Also, the first time I just turned up without a booking and they fit me in after a 10 minute wait.
